Ornament in Space 8 “Via dei Cerchi"

Two concentric circles extend on the floor, composed of 104 elements, 52 white and 52 black, cylinders with a mirror on top. The construction of the two ellipses on the fabric refers to a specific distance from where the perspective of three circles can be seen: the first on the floor, the other two circles transform into ellipses on the vertical fabric. A third, larger ellipse appears as the image in a mirror at the back and completes the composition.

Inhale, exhale,
hold your breath
gives us the rhythm for life.
In other words, our pace of life determines our way of breathing.
At the beginning of my ornamental work is the creation of the composition from
elements of previous structures. Drawing the outlines,sometimes I have to hold
my breath to guide my hand with calm and precision.
